Part Time Park Maintenance, Zoo Assistant

The City of Chippewa Falls is accepting applications for a Part Time Park Maintenance, Zoo Assistant. This position assists with opening and closing park facilities operate and repair grass cutting equipment, clean restrooms, pavilions shelters and picnic tables. Position involves a variety of jobs with all aspects of the Parks Recreation and Forestry the building and equipment maintenance, upkeep of all Parks and Rec facilities and City parks.

 Qualifications:  High School diploma or GED. Must hold a valid driver’s license. Applicant must have the ability to successfully handle hand tools, power equipment, pick up and dump trucks, trailers and towing. Wage is $15.00/hr., 16-40 hour workweek, approximately 1,000 hrs./year. Scheduled work hours will include nights and weekends closing park facilities.
