Consider becoming an Election Inspector.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in conducting open, accurate, and fair elections 
  • Preparing the polling place for Election Day
  • Issuing ballots to registered voters
  • Registering voters
  • Monitoring voting equipment
  • Demonstrating voting procedures to voters
  • Closing the polling place
  • Canvassing and reporting results
When are you needed:
  • Just a few days a year...election days and training days
Requirements:
  • Qualified elector of Chippewa County
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
  • Strong communication and clerical skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • NOT a candidate for any office to be voted on at the polling place at that election
  • Ability to work a full day—polls are open from 7:00 am—8:00 pm
