Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in conducting open, accurate, and fair elections
- Preparing the polling place for Election Day
- Issuing ballots to registered voters
- Registering voters
- Monitoring voting equipment
- Demonstrating voting procedures to voters
- Closing the polling place
- Canvassing and reporting results
- Just a few days a year...election days and training days
- Qualified elector of Chippewa County
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Strong communication and clerical skills
- Ability to problem solve
- NOT a candidate for any office to be voted on at the polling place at that election
- Ability to work a full day—polls are open from 7:00 am—8:00 pm
