City Council may grant a permit for street use for community-wide events (not private or block parties).
  • Application must be made 45 days prior to the event.
  • Any requests for City Services (e.g. City Staff setting up sawhorses or a police escort) require the permit application to first be approved by the Board of Public Works. 
  • Applicants must be present for the meetings at which the Street Use Permit Application will be addressed.
